What's My Story?

At age 12, I was diagnosed with a form of anxiety called obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). If I couldn’t remember my study material exactly as written in the textbooks (not even a word could be different), anxiety would cripple me. And I would go back to trying to re-learn that line by counting the number of words in each sentence. Funnily, the more I tried to learn it exactly, the more my anxiety and mental discomfort would grow. It was a super-vicious circle. Sometimes, I’d spend hours stuck on just one page of a textbook. During my class 10th board exams, I remember having the toughest time ever (mentally). It was as if my brain was in overdrive constantly. I feared waking up. Imagine having a thousand crisscrossing thoughts coupled with near-consistent anxiety. Needless to say, I under-performed terribly and got barely 80% overall. 

 

For almost 18 months, I suffered in silence. Not even my own mother knew what I was going through. For some reason, I thought I had to deal with this myself with just sheer “willpower”. Guess what? It doesn’t work that way!

 

Slowly, I opened up. Spoke to my mother. Met a psychiatrist. Discovered that something like OCD existed. Did several rounds of cognitive behavioral therapy. Even took the prescribed medication for a while. But then I stopped. Something inside told me that I had to learn something from this supposed “illness”. For almost 10 years, I embarked on a comprehensive personal growth journey by studying under various global masters like Eckhart Tolle, Jay Shetty, Tony Robbins, Grand Master Choa Kok Sui and more. And I used the teachings on myself and ended up with a complete step-by-step system on "how to be happy". 

 

Fast forward to now, and I am proud to share that the secrets that revealed themselves to me because of my OCD experience have helped me -

  • Why should I take a coaching pack?
    Normally, it takes at least 4 sessions to get to the root of an issue and to begin a transformation in that aspect of one's life. Taking a coaching pack helps in two ways - 1. You remain committed to the transformation process for at least a month 2. You save money vs booking individual coaching sessions!
  • What does a coaching pack validity mean?
    The validity signifies the period in which the pack sessions must be scheduled. For example, in the 4 sessions pack with validity of 1 month, you can schedule 4 sessions for yourself on any available time slot within a month from the date of pack purchase
  • Can I pause my pack in case of an emergency?
    Yes! Just send our customer care team an email at contact@amanchandra.org and we'll do the needful
  • I can't figure out which pack I should take. What should I do?
    We recommend that you start with the 4 sessions pack if you're unsure of which pack is right for you. 4 sessions is ideal for everyone and you cannot go wrong with it!
  • What should I do if I am satisfied with the results but still have sessions left?
    Coaching takes time to show results. Even if you are happy with the results, we suggest you continue with the sessions at the frequency recommended by your coach. Follow-up sessions are as critical as the breakthrough sessions, as your coach will guide you on how to maintain the momentum and not fall back into any harmful old ways
  • Can I cancel my pack?
    We are confident that you will not feel the need to cancel your pack and coaching sessions will truly help you make breakthroughs in your life. As a policy, we do not offer any cancellations once a pack is purchased.
